Even though the main stars of the show were brought down last night - with Nidge and Siobhan both gunned down and Fran tortured (possibly to death) – 93% of men and 76% of women want to see the crime drama return to screens for a sixth season, according to a new survey by independent market research firm iReach Insights.
Even though Tommy has had a very minor role this season, he’s still top of the list when it comes to secret crushes, with results as follows:
- Tommy (50%)
- Darren (30%)
- Elmo (10%)
- Mick (10%)
When it comes to the show’s top 3 characters that viewers liked the most, King Nidge comes out on top:
- Nidge (30%)
- Fran (20%)
- Siobhan (18%)
He was also top of the list of characters that people love to hate:
- Nidge (25%)
- Fran (18%)
- John Boy (11%)
- Siobhan (8%)
- Elmo (6%)
When it comes to the show's best season, Season 3 and Season 5 are tied in the popularity stakes, with the show's début series scoring much less:
- Season 3 (77%) and Season 5 (77%)
- Season 2 (66%)
- Season 4 (59%)
- Season 1 (57%)
