Choice Music Prize 2010

The winner of the Choice Music Prize 2010 is Adrian Crowley for the album 'Season Of The Sparks'

Selected by a judging panel of 12 Irish music media professionals at a special Live Event at Vicar Street, Dublin on Wednesday 3rd March, Adrian, who was 6/1 in the bookies odds,  was astonished to win the award for the Best Irish Album of 2009.

The big night was broadcast live in a special Paul McLoone Show right here on Today FM and featured live performances and interviews from the following nominated artists.

And So I Watch You From Afar, Codes, Adrian Crowley, Dark Room Notes, The Duckworth Lewis Method, Julie Feeney, Valerie Francis, and The Swell Season.

(Due to prior live commitments in the United States, BellX1 and Laura Izibor were unable to attend.)

Mr. Crowley receives €10,000, a prize fund which has been kindly provided by the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA), along with a specially-commissioned award, courtesy of the Recorded Artists And Performers Ltd (RAAP).
