This September, a new festival will take place in Sligo, and the line-up is garnering some impressive names to perform.
The legendary reggae group The Wailers, Terry Hall (The Specials), Damien Dempsey, The Mighty Stef and legendary Dublin slide guitarist/singer NC Lawlor have been added to the line-up for the first ever three day Sony Ericsson Temple House micro music & arts festival which will take place in the grounds of the Temple House Estate near Ballymote in Sligo from 10-12 September.
The festival promises to be a little bit different featuring a host of Irish and international acts already announced including The Undertones, The Walls, New Young Pony Club, Peter Hook DJ Set (New Order/Joy Division), The Stunning, 202s, Ronan O Snodaigh, and Today FMs Donal Dineen as well as art Ireland's best-known graffiti artist Maser .
Live music will be the core source of entertainment, complimented by poetry readings, art installations, medieval village, farmers’ market, vintage clothes, jewelry fair and children’s activities plus a plethora of other carefully selected attractions.
