Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show/Topflight Ski Trip

At the end of January 2010 we broadcast live from St Johann in Tirol, Austria, on the 11th Topflight/Today FM Ski Trip!

Check out the photo gallery below and our very special Ski TV where you can catch video blogs from the trip.

Opening Ceremony was held on Sunday night and we enlisted the help of the local ski school instructors to make the event extra special. There were flags, fireworks and fantastic ski displays!

On Monday, we kicked off our first live broadcast and were joined by GAA All Star and Clare hurler, Niall Gilligan. Maura O'Sullivan was here from the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists to lead our warm up. She'll be looking after any knocks and bruises this year. Dennis Gill from Wexford took the plunge on our 'Karaoke In The Cold' competition for his chance to win his trip back - listen to our other contestants sing their hearts out every day after the 8am news and for Simon Cowell's reaction. Public vote to take place Friday. Tune in tomorrow for Gift Celebrity Bainisteoir part two!

Good morning St Johann!

On Tuesday, Marcia Gallagher from Donegal was our karaoke contestant and performed 'Run' by Leona Lewis. Jo went to experience the official Sound of Music tour and recounted her adventure. Click here to see photos. Tuesday night was party night - 'The Snowball' - with Ian Dempsey and Tony Fenton in the town square. We also had a performance from mystery guest, Mundy.
