On Saturday night we ventured into a nightmarish maze of haunted houses, electrifying scare zones, and outrageous live entertainment at Halloween Horror Nights® XX: Twenty Years of Fear, only at Universal Orlando® Resort. On select nights in September and October, Universal Studios® theme park is transformed into America’s premier annual Halloween event. There was a lot of screaming and laughing…tune in for the audio.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal's Island of Adventures® is the only place in the world where the adventures of Harry Potter come to life. Tour Hogwarts castle, shop in Hogsmeade, sample Butterbeer and dine in The Three Broomsticks (we recommend the Great Feast and a pint of Butterbeer). We managed to fit all this in and even a trip to Ollivanders where the wand chooses you.

Don's miss the rides - on Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey follow Harry Potter as he flies above Hogwarts Castle; encounter a Whomping Willow and a horde of Dementors, and get caught in a Quidditch match.

On Flight of the Hippogriff, follow Hagrid's instructions as you learn the proper way to approach a Hippogriff before taking off on a trip that spirals and dives around the pumpkin patch and swoops past Hagrid's hut.

On Dragon Challenge you'll need the courage of a Triwizard Tournament champion as you mount one of two dragons - an aggressive Chinese Fireball or a ferocious Hungarian Horntail - that twist, loop and nearly colide in an intertwining roller coaster chase across the sky.

Kennedy Space Centre

Yesterday we were out at Cape Canaveral at the Kennedy Space Centre. We got to experience the sights, sounds, motion and excitement of a space shuttle launch in the Shuttle Launch Experience and we got to speak to retired NASA astronaut, Captain Jon McBride about his adventures in space.
