Teddy the Puppy!
This is Teddy - Jenny (and Rays) new dog.
He is a Lhasa Apso puppy.
Teddy was brought home on Thursday 25th August.
He is very clever and is already sitting on command. Toilet training is going very well - he is brought out to his "place" and does his business (mostly) on command.
At night he is put to bed in his (crate) bed with his own 'teddy', some chewy toys, his hot water bottle and a ticking clock(meant to replicate the heartbeat of his mum who he is missing). He is very good until around 4am when he wakes up and barks and cry's and Jenny has to get up and bring him outside to do his business. When he is put back into his (crate) bed, he wakes the house barking and whining BUT he is getting better.
He is the most placid, gorgeous puppy.
Puppy training will begin in a week's time when he is able to interact with other dogs.
Lhasa Apso's are known to be stubborn (like Ray) so you'll have to watch this space to see how we get on.

Teddy got a long needed haircut from Mutt Ugly in Ranelagh yesterday He looks fluffy and gorgeous again He is now 7 1/2 months - times flys ...

Teddy got a new haircut from Mutt Ugly in Ranelagh He has turned blonde After seeing quite a few pictures of other Lhasa Apso Doggies, its become apparent that they like to sleep with their back feet splayed out behind them. Very cute.

‘Wee gate’
Uh Oh … Ray was not a happy camper last night when he headed off to bed. Unfortunately he walked right into a puddle of Teddy’s wee. In his socks. Yes, soggy socks. Disaster. Teddy was suitably apologetic and attempted to lick him better. Ray was having none of it though … He better watch out or he could be in the dog house if he’s not careful … Teddy not Ray ;)
