NCA took 115 enforcement actions against businesses

The National Consumer Agency ordered the destruction of over 26 thousand unsafe products last year - before they reached the Irish market.

The body is publishing its annual report, which highlights the agency's role in product safety.

115 enforcement actions were taken against businesses in breach of consumer law last year - with two prosecutions secured against traders in relation to the sale of clocked cars.
