Golden Globes 2012
Last night, the 2012, 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. It was, once again, hosted by Ricky Gervais. While it was a tamer version of comedy than last year, he still managed to get a few of his Gervais style jibes in. Anyways enough about Ricky, here are the winners!

Subo drops by Donegal pub
Singer Susan Boyle surprised locals in the Halfway House pub in Burnfoot, Co Donegal when she stopped by for lunch. She had a sandwich and a half pint of Guinness and had no problem posing for pictures with locals.
Dressed in a fur coat, white cable-knit jumper and green scarf, Ms Boyle spent the day sightseeing around the Inishowen peninsula with two other women and a man. They later dropped into a local seaside hotel for dinner.
"She was chatting away to people in the bar and was very nice to everyone," said Breedge Doherty, manager of the Lake of Shadows Hotel in Buncrana.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Chris Evans has bought the iconic car used in the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The Radio 2 DJ is believed to have paid almost £500,000 and has now sent it to be restored.
He revealed he got the car from its current owner - who bought it at auction last year in Los Angeles - because at over 17 feet long it wouldn’t fit in his garage.
Evans, who already has a multi-million pound classic car collection, is understood to have paid nearly £500,000 for the car, which he has now sent to be restored.
The car was recognised around the world after it starred in the 1968 hit film alongside Dick Van Dyke, Sally Ann Howes and Benny Hill.
Chitty, with the registration number GEN11, has been seen by thousands of fans and spent more than 30 years competing in charity races around he country.
Michael Jackson once tried to buy it for his Neverland Ranch.
Evans’s son Noah, who is three next month, is a massive fan of the classic film.
