    Am sure most of you know already.... but worth mentioning news about this year's Choice Music Prize.

     


    Choice Music Prize

    A date has been set for this year's Choice Music Prize where one lucky artist will walk away with €10,000 thanks to the Irish Music Rights Organisation and the Irish Recorded Music Association.

    The now annual awards are in their fifth year and will take place in Vicar Street on March 3.

    The final shortlist of 10 albums will be announced on January 13, chosen from over 200 Irish releases this year.

  • Nirvana

    This Sunday night November 7th I will be taking an in depth look at Nirvana's debut album 'Bleach'. Released in June 1989 but not appreciated by a much larger fan base until after the release of the band's landmark album Nevermind two years later, this debut still sounds brilliant.
