On March 23, Merge Records will release Vol 2, the second album from She & Him the indie pop superstar duo of M. Wardand Zooey Deschanel. The album will run 13 tracks, and you can download one of the 13 below: "In the Sun", on pitchformedia.com which features guest vocals from Omaha twee brigade Tilly and the Wall. I love it already!

Black Francis aka Frank black has announced that he is releasing a new solo-album called 'NonStopErotik'.

The follow-up to 2008's 'Svn Fngrs', 'NonStopErotik' was co-produced by Eric Drew Feldman and will be released on April 5.

Some of the song titles to look forward to.. 'Lake of Sin', 'O My Tidy Sum', 'Dead Man's Curve', 'Six Legged Man' and 'When I Go Down On You'

Already we have heard samples of  James Mercer (The Shins) work with Danger Mouse, have been handed new singles from Hot Chip and New Young Pony Club and now we know for sure that the following artists will be releasing in 2010. All leaning towards the belief that this year is going to be a mighty fine year…. Musically!

 Their Summertime EP has already been released and I have played the infectious 'Let's Go Surfing' a good few times but I haven't championed them enough, that is until now!  They are Jonathon Pierce and Jacob Graham and they are destined for greatness this year!
