The choice of our judging panel for Right Half Back on the 15 for 15 selection is Kerry’s Tomás Ó’Sé.
He was always there.
Tomás Ó’Sé carried the spiritual flame of his uncle Páidí at number 5 for 16 seasons in the green and gold.
Here are the facts. Tomás Ó’Sé holds the record number of senior football championship appearances with 88. He has won 5 All Ireland titles, 5 All Star Awards, 9 Munster crowns and was named Footballer of the Year in 2009.
He was an outstanding wing back, with brilliant passing and kicking ability, strength and awareness. In full flight Tomás Ó’Sé was a joy to behold, scoring 3-35 in his decorated career.
