At the time of it's release The Lion King was the highest grossing animated movie EVER and with good reason.
It's story was epic and Shakespearean, the animation was incredible with sweeping shots of Africa and incredible action sequences, and the soundtrack was and still is one of the best.
Now, Jon Favreau, the man behind Elf, Swingers and Iron Man has been given the task of directing the live action version.
No pressure.
But now they have the CGI to make the impossible look incredible.
However, looking at the new teaser trailer it looks like he's really stuck to the retaining the magic of the original.
