Trip Advisor has deemed Chapter One in Dublin The Best Restaurant In Ireland, and lists 9 other restaurants that I have never heard of or never been to as the best places to eat...maybe because many of them have Michelin Stars.

What I want to know is where is the best place to eat a casual but delicious dinner in Ireland? Somewhere you can bring the kids, maybe get a pint with your food and not break out into a sweat when the bill arrives.

My personal favourites are the Harbour Bar in Rush (spaghetti and prawns or fish and chips), Grogan’s in Glasson for a steak sandwich and Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim Co Meath where you can find the best club sandwich in the world... fact!

Whenever we talk about food on the Early Breakfast Show, we always get a huge reaction. And today was no different! We have you covered for the best grub around Ireland, and a few suggestions on what to have in said locations. Bon appétit!
