The regeneration of Dublin is something that is happening all around Dubliners on a daily basis.
The Dublin Port Company has decided document this change and brought in a videographer to work on a number of different projects.
However when Francois Gray turned up to start filming, he began to hear the maddest nicknames being shouted about in the thickest of Dublin accents.
Francois sat the men of Dublin Port down to chat through the origins of these amazingly colourful, original and sometimes crazy nicknames, and created this brilliant video filled with their stories.
Salt Box O'Connor, Chicky May and The Thumb are hands down some of the best nicknames we've ever heard.
