Over 70 years after the end of the Second World War, how worried do we need to be about the rise of Neo-Nazi groups?

Condemned to Remember is a new Irish documentary which explores this theme.

The film sees Tomi Reichental, a concentration camp survivor, revisit Eastern Europe to see what is happening. He explained how the idea came about.

The idea of making this film started with the refugee problem, but when we started filming

"When the war ended and we were going home the motto was 'never again', and 70 years later it's just happened. People forgot very quickly."

"I know how it felt when people didn't want you, and for me it's a reminder of exactly what happened in 1939. The subject for me was the behaviour of Europe. History is repeating itself."

The film's producer, Gerry Gregg, added: "When we went to Eastern Europe, we discovered that the Holocaust was brushed under the carpet by the Stalinist regimes."

"There is a reluctance to deal with our complicity in the Nazi extermination project, and a reluctance to take anybody that doesn't look or speak like us."
