Pooches from all over the country packed out the Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin this afternoon for a dog carol service.
The annual event is held by Therapy dog charity Peata.
Peata sends volunteers with their dogs to visit the elderly and people with intellectual disabilities.

The funds raised from today's event benefit Peata itself and the Peter McVerry Trust.
Margot Wrigley from Peata says the dogs are always well-behaved.
She says "They behave very well. The only time I ever heard one bark was last year - it gave a little bit of a bark".
The charity is always looking for more volunteer dog owners, no matter what the breed of dog.
Margot Wrigley says "Any type of dog whether it's got a pedigree or not is very welcome with their owner".
