The aviation tycoon took some time out of his busy schedule to call into studio today and set the record straight! And this man doesn't mince his words.

We felt very much like his airline's passengers today, as we were on the edge of our seat, and unsure whether he would arrive or not.

Thankfully he showed up and had a brutally honest chat with Iano about the whole debacle, where he took 100% ownership of the issue. We salute him for that. He throws a small bit of self ridicule in too for good measure.

Taoiseach Varadkar rang in to voice his concerns for the Irish public, but it was his fretting over Ibrahim Halawa that was the main talking point. Surely he'd chance a trip home with the airline?

To add fuel to the fire, Roy Keane gave us a buzz to see what the cancellations would mean for the Irish football team. How are they gonna get to Cardiff on October 9th if this calamity is still awry? "Oh sorry Wales, our flights were cancelled - you go to the world cup instead". He also makes a preposterous comparison.

The bottom line is that the Ryanair boss has no intentions of mollycoddling his workers - so they can forget their Facebook and Google like notions of "hummus and avocado bean bags".

Have a listen to his facts in full here:
