Christmas shoppers are being warned to wear waterproofs tomorrow because Met Eireann has issued a warning for 'potential severe weather' tomorrow.
The forecaster says all parts of the country can expect heavy rain, while there's also a possibility for windy conditions.
A status yellow advisory will be in place from midnight for the entire day.
The website says 'Potential for severe weather on Saturday 15th December. Hazardous conditions may result from heavy rain, and possibly wind also.'
Meteorologist Joanna Donnelly says the rain will be persistent and heavy at times: 'Tomorrow is going to be wet, it looks like it's going to persistent and heavy with just a few short breaks'.
