A New Nostalgia-Filled Music Festival Is Coming To Ireland This Summer
A brand new music festival has just been announced for Ireland. And if you're in to your throwback tunes - then they don't come much better than this!
The event is set to take place this Summer (5-7 July) in the beautiful surroundings of Palmerstown House in Co. Kildare!
They have a stellar lineup of incredible artists from the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s - the ultimate throwback weekend!
It's for a good cause too!
The festival itself has been set up to raise money to launch a new animal welfare charity, Animal Welfare Ireland.
The purpose of Animal Welfare Ireland is to launch veterinary treatment centres similar to the Blue Cross/DSPCA, providing help to animals in crisis and suffering across Ireland. So heading along to this class festival will help raising much needed funds!
We talked to the organisers of the festival who said:
"We have found that there was nowhere to turn when clients couldn't afford to treat their animals, so they often had to be put to sleep, or rehomed."
"So, we plan to launch four charity clinics in the next 18 months, and Forever Young Festival is the flagship of our fundraising."
Sounds good! How much?
Weekend tickets (Friday-Sunday) clock in at a very respectable €112.
Or you can choose day tickets (Saturday or Sunday) for €95. But get in early as those prices are just at the early bird pricing!
The festival will have all the bells and whistles that you've come to expect from a big festival bash in Ireland.
They'll have standard camping for €27 extra, VIP camping for €57 extra and there's also a fancy glamping area from €130 extra if you need that bit of glam in your life!
