Two men have been arrested in connection with an attack on security guards in Roscommon at the weekend.
Eight security staff were injured and a number of vehicles were burnt out when a group stormed the house in Strokestown.
A number of searches are taking place in the county as part of the investigation into the incident which followed the eviction of three people from their home.
The suspected involvement of dissident republicans in the incident has been described as "a very sinister development" by the Justice Minister.
The family at the centre of the eviction has criticised the Taoiseach for accusing Sinn Féin of not condemning the violence.
Discussion of the case led to heated exchanges in the Dáil, with the Leo Varadkar claiming Sinn Féin had "let its balaclava slip".
Fair play to @PearseDoherty for speaking to the anger across Ireland and solidarity with the evicted family in Roscommon. Of course, the reason why @campaignforleo attempted this silly distraction or “response” is because his Government’s policies led to these shameful scenes. pic.twitter.com/DKjA6ciAh1
