Teen Charged With Ana Kreigel's Murder
A 13 year old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder of Ana Kriegel in Dublin.
The body of the 14 year old was discovered in Lucan last week – three days after she went missing.
Anastasia Kriegel was last seen at St Catherine’s Park on Monday the 14th of May last week.
Just hours later her parents reported her missing and following an extensive search her body was discovered at a derelict building in Lucan last Thursday.
This evening a 13 year old boy – who cannot be named for legal reasons – appeared before a special sitting of the Children’s Court.
He limped into the courtroom, dressed in a black jumper and blue jeans - his parents and grandfather were present.

He was charged with the murder of the schoolgirl at Glenwood House, Laraghcon on the Clonee Road in Lucan on the 14th of May.
Inspector Mark O’Neill gave evidence of arrest charge and caution at Clondalkin Garda Station this afternoon – the boy made no reply.
Judge John O’Connor also warned the media and the public that if the childs name, home, school or photo were reproduced on social media those responsible will be liable to prosecution.
He granted him free legal aid and remanded him in custody to Oberstown Children’s Detention Center in North County Dublin – to appear in court again next Friday.
A second teenage boy arrested in connection with the investigation has been released with charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
