Four men have been arrested in relation to the alleged kidnap and stabbing of a man in Louth earlier this month.

The attack is understood to be connected to an ongoing gang feud in the area.

On November 11th, a 22 year old man was found with stripped, beaten and stabbed in a house in the Moneymore Estate on the outskirts of Drogheda.

It's believed the man had been kidnapped at an earlier time.

This morning local Gardaí, detectives and members of the Armed Support Unit searched across a number of houses across Drogheda.

4 men in their 20s were arrested and are currently being detained at Dundalk and Drogheda Garda Stations.

Gardai say their investigation is ongoing.
