At least one Harvard Professor Thinks So

A professor at Harvard University has come under fire for suggesting that people shouldn't be eating more than 6 chips in a single sitting.

Just so there's no confusion he's talking about what American's prefer to call French Fries.

Professor Eric Rimm has labelled the chip "a starch bomb".

He also says that they can lead to serious health issues.

The Professor has responded to some of the criticism which has come his way on Twitter:

Professor Rimm told the New York Times that "There aren’t a lot of people who are sending back three-quarters of an order of French fries."

In fairness to the Harvard academic potatoes, especially those dunked and cooked in hot oil, have been linked to obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

What would you do if a waiter served you six chips with your order?
