The Army Bomb Disposal Team has made safe an explosive device in Dublin.
It was discovered at Ashington Avenue in Cabra at around 10:30 this morning.
Gardai set up a cordon around the area and alerted the bomb disposal team which completed its work in around half an hour.
The device now been removed to a secure military facility for further examination.
