Celebrities including Rihanna and Kim Kardashian are calling for the release of a sex trafficking victim who killed a man she was hired by.
Cyntoia Brown was sentenced to life in prison in 2006 over the death of real estate agent Johnny Allen who picked her up near a hotel when she was 16.
The teenager shot the 43-year-old at his Tennessee home, fearing he would attack her.
The case has come to light again and a campaign is underway calling for her release with the #FREECYNTOIABROWN.

The system has failed. It’s heart breaking to see a young girl sex trafficked then when she has the courage to fight back is jailed for life! We have to do better & do what’s right. I’ve called my attorneys yesterday to see what can be done to fix this. #FreeCyntoiaBrown pic.twitter.com/73y26mLp7u
