The Confidence & Supply Agreement which is keeping the government afloat has been extended by a year.
Meanwhile, an election is set to be held in early 2020.
Shortly before 3pm, Fianna Fáil Leader Micheál Martin confirmed he had reached a deal with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar.
Fianna Fáil will continue to support the current government for another budget and through 2019.
Micheál Martin said it's the right decision with Brexit on the horizon "How could it possibly be in the national interest to have extended political uncertainty next year".
"This is why Fianna Fail will extend a guarantee that government will be able to operate throughout 2019".
