Arlene Foster says unionists can't support it

The DUP leader says she won't support the latest Brexit proposals.

Arlene Foster says she will not accept a different regulatory regime for the North.

Under the latest proposals the EU is pushing for a customs border in the Irish Sea.

She says it's not something unionists can support.

Earlier today, The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said he was hopeful a deal could be reached by the end of the year.

Speaking in the Isle of Man Leo Varadkar said "I'm hopeful it can be done in the next few weeks. I think it's morelikely than not that well be able to include an agreement in the next few weeks before the end of the year."

"But lots of things can go wrong. 

And it appears lots of things are going wrong.

In the UK today Boris Johnson's brother has resigned from the UK Government over Brexit.

Jo Johnson used his resignation to call for a second Brexit Referendum.

The former Transport Minster says there is huge gulf between what was promised during the Referendum and what is now on offer.
