Irish actress Caitriona Balfe has picked up another Golden Globe nomination.
It's her fourth nomination in a row for her work on the TV series Outlander.

Meanwhile, the Irish co-production The Favourite is up for awards in five categories including best motion picture (musical or comedy).
Olivia Colman, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz are all nominated for their roles in the film, which was produced by Dublin-based Element Pictures.

In the film categories, the comedy-drama Vice - about former US vice president Dick Cheney - leads the pack with six nominations.
In the TV categories, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story is up for four awards, while shows such as The Americans, Homecoming and Sharp Objects are competing in three categories.
The Golden Globes ceremony takes place on January 6th.
