Lidl says it plans to demolish what's left of its Fortunestown Lane store in Dublin in the interests of health and safety.
Engineers have completed their assessment of the 'significant damage' caused to the building during Storm Emma last Friday.

Lidl had been planning to build a bigger store on the site before the incident last week, and today said it has yet to make a final decision on its future plans for the site.

The supermarket chain has also announced that it will be offering customers a complimentary shuttle bus service from Fortunestown to its store at Whitestown Way in Tallaght.
The service will run once a day from 10.30am on Friday.
The retailer confirmed earlier this week that all 30 staff from the Fortunestown store have been redeployed to other stores.
