The completion of the new National Children's Hospital in Dublin is to be be delayed by 9 months.
The facility now won't be ready to open until August 2022, according to the Irish Times.
It's believed the additional delay is expected to add another €90 million to the cost of the project.
It was confirmed in the Dail yesterday that the cost of the hospital had already grown to €1.4 billion.
That's almost twice the €790 million estimated when the project was relocated to St James’s Hospital.
The final price will make it one of the most expensive hospitals in the world.
