Nigel Farage has announced he's quitting UKIP.
The former leader says it's been a very difficult decision but he feels he has to do it.
He'd accused current leader Gerard Batten of taking the party in a "shameful" direction after taking on far right activist Tommy Robinson as an advisor.
Farage wrote in The Telegraph "I am leaving UKIP today".
"There is a huge space for a Brexit party in British politics, but it won't be filled by UKIP".
