With hundreds of thousands of people heading home for Christmas this year, Focus Ireland and Irish Rail want to help ensure that everyone has a home to go to.
Focus Ireland say one family becomes homeless every 8 hours and they have teamed up with Irish Rail to raise vital funds for those in need this Christmas.
As part of their Home For Christmas campaign, train passengers will have an option when buying tickets online to donate €2 to Focus Ireland, while carol singers will be shaking buckets in stations over the next month.
Irish Rail will also provide free advertising in stations nationwide for Focus Ireland.
To kick off the Home For Christmas campaign, the CORus Choir sang carols at Houston Station this morning.
