The pair are being held at Crumlin Garda Station

Gardai have charged two men with conspiracy to murder after a loaded gun was found in Ballyfermot in Dublin last Monday.

The two men aged 34 and 38 are being held at Crumlin Garda Station.

On Monday, a van was intercepted by the Emergency Response Unit on the Kylemore Road, as part of an intelligence led operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.

A loaded gun was found when the van was searched.
