Some €1.4m worth of cannabis and cocaine was seized on Friday
A woman has appeared in court charged over a €1.4m drug seizure.
Susan McNeil, from Dublin 8, was released on bail of a €500 cash surety and €500 cash bond.
The 32-year-old mother of one was arrested following the seizure of €1.4m worth of cannabis and cocaine on Friday.
The drugs were seized as part of ongoing investigations by the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau, supported by the Special Crime Task Force.
They are targeting serious and organised criminal activity in the Dublin region.
A search was carried out in the Kings House Apartment Complex at Bow Lane in Dublin 8.
During the operation, cannabis and cocaine was seized.
Garda Susan Plunkett said she made no comment when charged at Kilmainham garda station under Section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
She is to surrender her passport, sign on daily at Nass garda station and provide a mobile phone number to gardaí.
She is to appear in court again on May 14th.
A 48-year-old man was released without charge on Saturday.
A file is being prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
