Peggy Mitchell, played by Barbara Windsor, first appeared in the soap back in 1994 as the landlady of the Queen Vic.
She stopped being a regular character in 2010, but has made occasional returns since.
She's due to pass away in tonight's episode, and her final scene has been described as 'incredibly emotional'.
