He's the King of Breakfast but did you know he's the King of lunch and dinner too?

Yes, Ian Dempsey knows exactly what makes a good restaurant and luckily for us, he's decided to share some of his favourite spots around the city.

Fire Restaurant, Dawson Street

Located in the heart of Dublin City, this restaurant doesn't just serve delicious dishes.

The multi-award winning spot also boasts one of the most impressive dining areas in the capital with incredible vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows and a beautiful terrace overlooking the Lord Mayor’s Garden.

Chai Yo, Baggot Street

This place is ideal for a fun family dinner or for bringing a group of friends out to eat.

With Chinese, Japanese and Thai food on the menu, you'll cater for even the fussiest of eaters while also knocking great craic out of the three teppanyaki cooking stations.

Challenge your dinner party to catching the egg in the chef's hat - it's harder than it looks!

Aqua Restaurant, Howth

Sumptuous seafood served against the jaw-dropping backdrop of Howth's coastline - what more could you want?

Maybe local produce and a lively atmosphere? Check and check!

Il Vicoletto, Crow Street

This gem off Temple Street is a must for any Italian cuisine enthusiasts.

With homemade pasta, fine Italian cheeses and boutique wines on offer, it's a little slice of Italy in the middle of the city. Delizioso!

Cleaver East, Essex Street

This New York-style restaurant combines friendly service with a playful menu and a comfortable setting. Their bottomless brunch and afternoon tea are a must-try!

You will not leave disappointed (or hungry)!

The Bull and Castle, Lord Edward Street

This restaurant near Christchurch originated as a butcher in the 1600s so it's fair to say they know a thing or two about beef.

Just one bite of the superior, tender steaks will be enough to convince you of that.

Iano is a very well travelled man and he has even picked out a couple of places that will hit the spot if you find yourself on holidays in Portugal or the Big Apple!

Parrilla Natural, Portugal

Set in one of the most idyllic locations in the Algarve, this Uruguayan inspired restaurant has an abundance of personality and the best natural ingredients, including their signature beef range - all cooked in the traditional Uruguayan way to intensify flavour.

Ben and Jack's Steakhouse, New York

Ben and Jack's do classic straight up steakfood dishes prepared to perfection. Even better? They're served alongside tasty, generous sides and rich desserts all in the cosy, wood-paneled setting. Ideal.
