Arsenal v Tottenham – 12.30pm

The Premier League returns after the international break with the North London derby the pick of the games. Arsenal have won 10 league games in a row at the Emirates but Arsene Wenger’s side have failed to win any of their last six top flight matches against Spurs. For so long Arsenal were the dominant side in North London but under Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham finished ahead of their rivals last season, something they hadn’t done since 1995. However Spurs have picked up just one away win against the top six under Pochettino so that must be a concern for the Argentine as will the absence of the injured Toby Alderweireld. A win for Arsenal would move them within a point of Spurs but the smart money is probably on a draw, considering their last three at the Emirates have ended level.

Ian Beach and Brian Kerr will be at the Emirates Stadium and you can hear full commentary on todayfm.com from midday (click on listen live to hear it).

Liverpool v Southampton – 3pm

Liverpool have a chance to make it three league wins in a row when they host Southampton but Jurgen Klopp is yet to win a league game against the Saints. Klopp will be in the dugout at Anfield tomorrow having been admitted to hospital for tests earlier in the week after feeling unwell. Sadio Mane will be available against his former club and another former Saint Adam Lallana could also feature for the first time this season. Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino also returns to his former club where he was a player and a coach under Rafa Benitez. Liverpool fans will get a chance to see Virgil van Dijk play at Anfield, something they expected to see on a regular basis until the deal fell through during the summer.

Dave McIntyre and David Fairclough will be in the commentary box at Anfield.

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour will be this week’s guest in the Boot Room.

A three time Premier League winner with Arsenal, Ray will look back on the 2003/4 season when the Gunners won the league title without losing a top flight match.
