We All Need To Celebrate The Good Times

Between nutritionists, strength and conditioning coaches and the time being put into GAA training nowadays you'd wonder if players have any time to celebrate their successes!

Donegal and Ulster senior football club champions Gweedore are quite refreshing in the world of today.

Gaoth Dobhair won a first Ulster club SFC title after an extra-time thriller against Scotstown in Omagh, bringing the trophy back to Donegal for the first time since 1975.

Shane Ferry's point in the second half of extra time was the difference, with All Star goalkeeper Rory Beggan surprisingly dropping a free short from around 45 metres which would taken the game to a second bout of extra time.

The lads are clearly enjoying the celebrations!

They're bringing the cup on a right tour of the parish!

Teach Mhicí in the heart of Gaoth Dobhair seems to be the place to be to join in the celebrations and it looks like you'd want some stamina to keep up with the team and supporters as they celebrate their provincial club win!

The party resumed early enough on Monday.

But by lunchtime the intensity had been turned up a notch, with minor consideration of the clubs next opponents in the All Ireland semi final but more of a focus on keeping up with Neil Diamond!

With Christmas and the new year only round the corner it's fair to say Teach Mihici would be a good place to take in if you are looking for right craic altogether over the festive season!
