The Oscars: All You Need To Know
It’s Oscars Day! Well, the day after but we’re all waking up today to hear who won, who lost, who wore it best... etc.
The Shape Of Water won Best Picture announced by Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty who hit the stage for a second attempt at presenting the Academy Award for Best Picture. After last year’s disaster (who could forget it!) they managed it without a hitch. Hurray!
Jodie Foster took to the stage to present the Best Actress award alongside Jennifer Lawrence, shufflling out on a pair of crutches.
Asked what happened, she replied: “Streep. She I, Tonya-ed me. But I would prefer not to discuss it.”
Lawrence replied: “She tripped me once.” Good bantz.
It wasn’t Saoirse Ronan’s night, unfortunately, as Best Actress went to Frances McDormand who gave a powerful acceptance speech for Mná na Hollywood.

Allison Janney won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress and gave the shortest speech ever, of just 6 words! Kind of.
“I did it all by myself,” Janney said. As the crowd laughed and cheered, she added, “Nothing further from the truth.”
After thanking her co-stars, Janney also thanked her special co-star: The pet bird that was perched on her shoulder in most scenes of the film.
“To my I, Tonya family. The magnificent Margot Robbie, the fearless Craig, cast and crew, and the bird that elevated my work,” she quipped.
The best dress for me was.... ta-daaah! Look how beautiful Saoirse looks:
