Modius Receives Record Breaking Funding

Neuroscientist and CEO of Modius, Dr. Jason McKeown spoke to Conall on this week's Sunday Business Show.

The Northern Ireland Tech company and raised a record breaking £1.2 million on the crowdsourcing site, Indiegogo.

Dr. McKeown's company ‘Modius’ produces wearable headset which neurology to help people to loose weight and get lean.

The company reached its impressive funding on IndieGoGo in just 60 days, recieving money from more than 4000 customers across 84 countries and resulting in a further growth for the business.

Dr. Jason McKeown told Conall how the wearable technology works and stated that it has been tested on a number of overweight volunteers.

After one month of testing the results showed all the patients loosing weight, with one individuals weight being cut by up to 16%.
