Peppa Pig has been blocked on a popular Chinese video app.
Thousands of videos featuring beloved the cartoon pig have been removed from the short-video app Douyin, according to The Global Times.
The cartoon pig is said to be affiliated with "subversive" Chinese youth and counterculture.
About 30,000 Peppa Pig videos were removed from video website over the past number of days.
