There’s nothing better than jumping into your PJs, whacking on the fire and shutting the door on a freezing cold night.

With these brilliant Hollywood blockbusters available on TV, you won't even have to leave the comfort of your own home this weekend for some five star entertainment.

If thrillers are your thing then check out The Snowman.

It tells the tale of hard-drinking Oslo detective Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender) who teams up with fellow cop Katrine Bratt (Rebecca Ferguson) when a serial killer begins leaving dismembered corpses lying about with a chilling calling card - a creepy snowman with twigs for arms and coffee beans for teeth.

Hole's investigation is further complicated by his relationship to ex-girlfriend Charlotte Gainsbourg and a shoal of red herring that might - or might not - include slimy editor JK Simmons.

If survival tales are more your thing then get stuck into The Mountain Between Us.

Stranded after their chartered plane crashes in the wilds of Canada, two strangers - doctor Ben Bass (Idris Elba) and soon-to-be-wed photojournalist Alex Martin (Kate Winslet) - must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain.

When they realise help is not coming, they embark on a perilous journey across the wilderness accompanied by a third survivor - a dog called Riley.

And who doesn't love Judy Dench?!

Victoria and Abdul sees Judi reprise the role of Queen Victoria, which she first played opposite Billy Connolly's Scottish servant John Brown in 1997's Mrs Brown.

This time she takes a shine to Indian clerk Abdul Karim, played by Ali Fazal, the Bollywood star who made his Hollywood name with the action thriller Furious 7.

Based on the book by Shrabani Basu, its follows the friendship between the Queen and Karim - who Victoria referred to as "Munshi", an Urdu word for teacher - and the discord in the palace when she insisted that he accompany her on her travels.

Listen to Shelly's Telly below for a full listing of all that's going on this weekend.
