Extra financial support for businesses in Offaly, Kildare & Laois has been announced.
It's a week since restrictions were confirmed in the counties, which are set to last until August 22nd.
The package of supports is worth in the region of €6 million.
It includes a Topped Up Restart Plus Grant, with eligible businesses entitled to a 20% top up, bringing the new minimum for affected counties to €4,800 and the new maximum to €30,000.
€1 million is being provided for Local Enterprise Offices to increase engagement with local businesses to ensure they are aware of the loans, grants and vouchers they are entitled to.
Fáilte Ireland will also be allocated €1 million.
This will be use to create a promotional campaign focused on increasing the appeal of these counties to visitors and drive bookings.
