New information has been made available to the creators of the popular podcast series

If you’ve binged on Making A Murderer and Serial then West Cork is the podcast for you.

West Cork is Ireland's first true crime podcast, making it into Time magazine's 50 best podcasts in the world.

The popular podcast series tells the story of Sophie Toscan du Plantier, a French film producer, who was found dead outside her holiday home near Schull, County Cork, on the night of December 23 1996.

The case surrounding Sophie's death remains unsolved today.

Journalist Ian Bailey was arrested twice in relation to the murder; however, he was not prosecuted for the crime and he has always protested his innocence.

Sam Bungey and Jennifer Forde have now exclusively revealed to Dermot and Dave that more episodes are on the way after new information was made available to them following the release of West Cork.

Catch this special extended chat about the journey Sam Bungey and Jennifer Forde found themselves on, trying to figure out exactly what happened during that cold night in West Cork over 20 years ago.
