This Friday's Late Late Country Music Special will pay tribute to Big Tom, who passed away yesterday aged 81.
The country music legend, who emerged during the showband scene in the 1960s, will be celebrated by a line-up of Irish country stars which will include Daniel O'Donnell and Nathan Carter.
It's clear that country music is attracting a whole new audience, as last year's Late Late Country Special proved when it attracted well over 677,000 viewers.
