Civil servants are looking to have their working day reduced to less than seven hours.
During the economic crisis, an additional two and a quarter hours were added to the working week for civil servants, with the result that they currently work a 37-hour week.
According to Bernard Harbour, Head of Communications with Forsa, this amounts to roughly "seven hours a day and slightly less on a Friday."
Are their demands reasonable? Should the working hours be returned to what they were before?
Bernard was joined by Eamon Delaney, former civil servant and founder of the Hibernia Forum, to discuss this with Matt.
