€1 Million For Female Entrepreneurs
The Competitive Start Fund is a program of Enterprise Ireland for high potential start-up companies that have the capability to develop innovative products or services to be sold on international markets and with the potential to create jobs.
This year Enterprise Ireland have also launched a €1 million Competitive Start Fund (CSF) for female entrepreneurs.
On this week's Sunday Business Show Conall was joined by Rachel James, Female Entrepreneurship Manager of Enterprise Ireland and Liz Fulham, whose business SalesOptimize was a previous winner of the fund.

Liz spoke to Conall about her Data Science Company, SalesOptimize which helps companies identify their full market opportunities by creating an online market intelligence platform.
The business previously received €50k in funding from the Competitive Start Fund, which helped them to grow further and receive over €1 million in funding from private investors.
Applications for the Enterprise Ireland funding program for Female Entrepreneurs will open on Tuesday, 1 May.
