What You NEED To Know About Ed's Phoenix Park Gigs
The man with the 'ginger touch' kicks off the first of his Phoenix Park gigs this evening and fans cannot wait.
Like every show Ed does, it's going to be amazing, but there are some very strict restrictions in place, so to avoid disappointment you need to listen up and take this information on board. We want it to be Perfect for the 150,000+ in attendance.
Today FM News reporter Paul Quinn was down at a press day at the location yesterday where he chatted to Sophie Ridley who is Event Controller for Aiken Promotions.
Sophie had a list of the dos and don'ts for his gigs and on this morning's show Dermot and Dave played the audio to help all you Sheerios out.
The lads also have some audio of Pearse Doherty who is Head of Production with the company. Pearse chats about the stage setup and how long it takes to prep.
Finally, Dermot and Dave have a listen back to the time they interviewed Ed last year and how he had then hinted about playing this selection of gigs in Ireland.
Doors open at 5pm and the show is aimed to be finished at 11pm. No early queuing is permitted so don't be rushing to get there.
Here are the stage times:
- 5:45pm - Beoga
- 6:30pm - Jamie Laswon
- 7:30pm - Anne-Marie
- 8:45pm - Ed Sheeran
