Diesel is falling out of favour, with people turning back to petrol.
But one type of petrol car that people have always loved is what's known as the 'hot hatchback'.
This type of car originated with the Volkswagen Golf GTI in the mid-1970s.
It's based on a standard hatchback, but with added power, and is generally more affordable.
