There's one thing for sure lads, Ray Malone will never walk alone!
Ray hails from Waterford (as you will tell from his beautiful accent) and has been a lifelong fan of Liverpool FC.
He's followed them all across the globe totting up over six hundred matches along the way.
Tomorrow, Ray embarks on his most biblical journey as he sets off for Kiev to watch his beloved team take on Real Madrid in Saturday's Champions League Final.
While most fans will hop on the quickest flight (and end up paying through their proverbial for it), Ray and his pals used their KOP. They have decided to do it on the cheap and take the scenic route.
"We were being quoted €1,200 to €1,600 just to get out there and there was no way we were paying that."
One bus journey and SIX flights await the men on the expedition of a lifetime. Let's just hope they win.
On this morning's Dermot and Dave, the lads gave Ray a call to hear all about the thought process behind their voyage, and hear a few fun anecdotes from Ireland's biggest Liverpool fan.
"I've had a good life with it now, cost me a fortune but worth every penny of it."
